A Case of Congenital Bronchogenic Cyst

Abstract
|
|
|
This is a case of 28 year old Korean male who had frequent severe upper respiratory infections from his infanthood. Between infections, he had no symptoms.
His bronchogenic cyst was found out when he took a routine roentgenogram while he was serving at an army nospital as medic.
This was confirmed at a private clinic and at our hospital.
After cystectomy, the diagnosis was confirmed pathologically.
Available English literatures were reviewed with a discussion regarding the pathogenesis, incidence, clinial symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.
